David is an extroverted resident in Hoskins. He wants a social café-like environment in his building in which to do work. Libraries are too silent as a learning space for him and his apartment has too many distractions!
- David is doing work at the library. He feels lonely and unstimulated – he’s on the verge of falling asleep.
- David decides that it’s time to switch up the environment – perhaps that will give him a new jolt of energy.
- He bikes home to continue his work there.
- David walks through the door of his apartment – his girlfriend is watching TV in the living room.
- It’s too loud in the living room, so David walks into the bedroom. He can still hear the sounds of the TV through the wall; there are too many distractions, he can’t concentrate.
- He wishes that there was another space he could go to easily that’s not too far from his apartment since it’s getting late.
- David wishes for a fun, inspiring common room in Hoskins with coffee, lounge music, and a “together-alone” ambience where he can be productive while being surrounded by other people.
